As of August 2016, Dani Dayan officially assumed the post of Consul General of Israel in New York. As Consul General, he represents the State of Israel to communities from throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Delaware.

Amb. Dayan has a long time reputation as an Israeli public figure, lecturer and entrepreneur enjoying wide support and appreciation from all sides of the Israeli political spectrum. His nomination by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, was publicly welcomed by the Israeli opposition too.

Amb. Dayan has been for many years a regular commentator in the international press, both broadcast and print and was frequently called upon to participate in public debates and panels at major conferences and universities. Among the media outlets he contributed to are New York Times, Boston Globe, The Guardian, CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera and many more.

Dani Dayan began his professional career as an entrepreneur and businessman, founding Elad Systems in 1982 at the young age of 26. He served for several years as its CEO and later as Chairman of the Board. Elad Systems specializes in the development, integration and maintenance of sophisticated information systems, outsourcing, facility management and more, for a wide range of large governmental, public and private organizations. In 2005, when Dayan sold his interests in the firm, it employed 500 IT professionals.

From 1990-1992, Dayan served as the general secretary of the Techiya political party. He was responsible for all of the movement's activities and public campaigns and was instrumental in the negotiations that led to the party's inclusion in Prime Minister Yitzchak Shamir's 1990 coalition government.

Before establishing his own information technology company Dayan spent seven and a half years in the Israel Defense Forces serving in the elite MAMRAM computerized data processing center, attaining the rank of Major.

Dayan holds a B.Sc. in Economics and Computer Sciences from Bar Ilan University and M.Sc. in Finance from Tel Aviv University. He is fluent in Hebrew, English and Spanish. He also served on the Israel Broadcasting Authority Board and the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Council. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1955, Dayan immigrated to Israel in 1971.He resides with his wife and daughter in the community of Maale Shomron in central Samaria.

Ira Levy is the founder and president of Levy NYC Design & Production. Since 1993, he has established a strong reputation for innovative design and exceptional quality, from fashion shows, Retail stores, Hotels, Special events, architecture and weddings to large international designs installations. He has collaborated with world renowned designers like Preston Bailey, Colin Cowie, artists like Joana Vasconcelos, jeff Koons, and Martha Stewart to name a few. Ira is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America, International Association of Lighting Designers and Designers Lighting Forum of New York.

Helene is originally from São Paulo, Brazil, she is an active member of the local jewish community and an entrepreneur with various holdings in the New York Real Estate and business community.

She supports many charities around the globe following the steps of her father Edmundo Safdie z"l, which together with his wife Rachel, have been responsible for founding and supporting a number of Jewish centers and organizations, not just in Brazil but internationally as well. Their commitment to philanthropy and to Tzedaka, have dramatically improved the Jewish landscape in countless countries.

Ira and Helene, together with their 2 lovely kids, have followed this path of community activism, friendship and leadership. They have been steadfast supporters of the Jewish Latin Center since it inception, a reflection of their strong belief in investing and nurturing future generations of Jewish leaders.

Bastien Broda is a founder and managing partner of 60 Guilders, LLC, a NYC-based real estate investment firm. Bastien has been involved in sourcing, underwriting, financing and closing over $2 billion of New York City retail, office and residential transactions. Before forming 60 Guilders, Bastien worked at Savanna Real Estate Fund, a NYC-based real estate private equity firm, and BNP Paribas, a french investment bank. Originally from France, Bastien moved to the US in 2000 and received a BS in finance and management from New York University.

Sarita Broda co-founded Bib and Tuck, an online platform for women to sell apparel and accessories. In 2015, Sarita and her partner sold the business. Prior to forming Bib and Tuck, Sarita worked at Jetsetter, the travel subsidiary of Gilt Groupe. Originally from Colombia, Sarita moved to the US in 1996 and received in BS in hospitality from New York University.

The couple lives in Tribeca with their son Jonah. They have been actively involved with the Jewish Latin Center for over 5 years and are currently actively helping to establish a permanent center for the community.

Adam was born in France to a Moroccan father and an Australian mother. He studied in Israel at the IDC Herzliya and in Singapore at the Singapore Management University.

Adam is the CEO of the eco-friendly food packaging company PackNwood and he has also just started another eco-friendly company called Nature's Party, for consumers and retail.

Adam has been involved with Jewish Latin Center since its inception. His vision and support helped shape the Jewish Latin Center into what it is today.
